Performance (in the work of other Choreographers)
Over the years, I have performed with several companies and choreographers whose work aligns with my foundation in Street and Club dance forms. Notably, I had the honor of performing with Rennie Harris Puremovement, a pioneering company in Street Dance Theater, where I contributed to works that elevate Hip-Hop as a concert dance form. My collaboration with choreographer James Morrow was equally meaningful; centered in mutual respect and creative exchange, it allowed me to explore new movement vocabularies and performance dynamics. These experiences, among others, continue to nourish my artistry and keep me rooted in the embodied knowledge that fuels both my teaching and choreography.
